Hi, I’m Nela!
My full name is Daniela Durán, but since I was little, everyone’s called me Nela — and today, that name represents the heart, hands, and imagination behind Nela Balloons & Art LLC.
I was born in Venezuela, where I earned a degree in Advertising and Marketing and spent years immersed in the world of outdoor media and graphic design. I’ve always loved creating — with my hands, my ideas, and my heart.
In 2015, I moved to Orlando, Florida, and unknowingly stepped into the most colorful chapter of my life. While working at local restaurants, I discovered the art of balloon twisting to entertain children — before I even spoke English fluently! That experience became my creative foundation, full of learning, challenge, and joy.
What began as a playful skill soon revealed itself as my true calling.
Driven by curiosity and a deep love for creative expression, I pursued formal training in balloon design — blending my background in marketing and visual arts with hands-on technique.
Today, I’m proud to be a Certified Professional Balloon Designer, leading a brand rooted in heart, handcrafted detail, and the joy of turning imagination into unforgettable experiences.
